Yes I do sell the SDconnect but a lot more expensive than the ordinary chicness one as we replace some PCBs on the board as the chicness tend to get blown or corrupted after a little while. I can support with the software if it is fully installed by me.

I just bought a C4 from AliExpress. I contacted MB house and they said this should be good to go. They told me to get it without the software as they will help with installing the correct software when I'm ready to tune. I will let you guys know how it goes and when I get it in the mail

I just got the phone with MBHouse. they send me the files/software to download via UTorrent (30 GB and very slow download). on the 21st at 10 AM they will contact me and install the software on my multiplexer and on the 23rd we will perform the services I selected.
on a side note, I had to create all sorts of exceptions to allow the download and install on my PC. you will need to turn off the firewall and antivirus to start the download. ALSO A BIG ALSO, you do NOT need a windows 7 PC anymore. you will be able to to install on your windows 10 PC as they ewxplined that MBenz dropping support for windows 7

MBhouse have been great all day process and we still didn't finish BUT they coding as we speak. I will give you guys the run down later. The multiplexer itself is not the issue it will be the least of your problems. I recommend a laptop with 200GB free and has to be the main drive. I have about 160 gb worth of software today.
Again I can't speak enough of MBhouse . Top notch

So if you have a 2012 first edition CLS or a very early production car they will only be able to update the color scheme on your dashboard but not on your Navi screen. Apparently I have version 4.0 and they can only do vehicles with version 4.5 and up to version 5. However, for me it's not a big deal because I have Android screen. Infact the new cluster matches my Android screen better 😁😁😁😁

Well the main point is the a multiplexer will work. Here is my final review and what works and what doesn't.
Installation of software. Plan on 2-5 hours since they will work on your car and do their day job at the same time. Meaning working on other cars in their shop. You got have a patient made from iron there is times where they will not respond to you for an hour over to text and then next thing you know they will start working on your software again. You must have a good computer with at least 160 GB of free space. They will install several softwares remove your antivirus they will disable your firewall and I'm shut down any security by windows in order for them to be able to work on your computer and then you steam viewer to program the car. your computer and your network will be very vulnerable at that moment so keep that in mind that's a whole day of our security vulnerability. Also due to miscommunication from Mercedes-Benz house they failed to let me know the software will cost an additional $300. The first time I seen anything about $300 was when they sent me the invoice after working on the car, they failed to disclose that price for me up front as they thought they did. that doesn't solve the problem and specially for someone who was not prepared to pay it or even have the money to pay it.
After 6 hours of software installation we started to work on the vehicle itself. You will need to have strong internet connection you will need to be able to plug in your laptop to a power source and at some point you will need to have your car also plugged into a power charger or keep it running so if you're in the garage going to keep the door open so you don't suffocate from carbon monoxide. I'm a very computer savvy person and I can tell you that everything they did and all the programming and code writings they were doing meant nothing to me so it's not something that he will be able to do on your own later on or make any corrections although you have the software so don't think about it. As I stated earlier that my car have them older navigation screen so they were not able to update the color scheme there however they were able to update my dashboard cluster with the new colors which match my Android screen. Yes I recommend the Android screen very much and it is as simple as plug-and-play it's not that complicated to install the only complicated thing about the Android screen is hiding the aux wire which I already did..
They they didn't charge me the full price for the color scheme since they only did half of it I was charged $75 for the cluster only. They added the agility mode "A" , the performance package, parking assist coding and full-led at night. Must say the only thing I'm a little iffy about is the performance package I'm not feeling any different and I'm wondering if that has something to do with the tune that I already have! they will look into it again tomorrow and see if everything is working as it should since I believe they were working have they today on Sunday.
Overall I'm happy with the service but you have to be very very very patience with them they will not reply to you as quick as you would think but they are good at what they're doing and although they failed to disclose that $300 for the initial software installation they did a good job and where professional about it. at the end he told me that he was going to throw in the "M" mode for me for free and some other stuff that he didn't disclose, so we will see tomorrow what else he will add when they recheck the performance package.
PS: I didn't have a a battery charger so therefore I brought in my kitty and I connected her did the Mercedes while running to keep constant power.

Don't get me wrong I didn't expect them to give me a free software that's why said miscommunication from their side. they failed to provide that information upfront but that's okay I'm okay with it, but other people might not so I was just putting the information out there.
Question: I can't find anywhere online that there is a driving mode called "A" mode! Even in AMG vehicles. I don't even notice a difference between the A and the S. I have OETUNE, I simply went with them because they were cheaper one and I think that it's the least tune with added pressure to the engine and the transmission since I have over 80,000 miles on my car.

They explained to me that it was like S+ on the AMG vehicles. On our AMG SUV I drive on S+ all the time and its way more fun than any other mode. I don't think A Mode quite lives up to S+ mode but whatever, I got it, so I use it. It does feel a bit more aggressive to me than S Mode but nowhere near S+ mode on an AMG.
Nice on the OE Tune. They were a little less expensive than the EC and they do put out a little less power which is prob safer for the car in the long run.
Also, I didn't mean to insinuate anything in terms of the miscommunication w the software and the fee they charge. My bad. i apologize if it came off like I was being judgmental. Not my intention and like you I'm just trying to contribute to the CLS community here . Keep posting updates.

Well MBhouse and I connected for the last time or at least for the last time for what I paid for. Yes they linked into my car on Christmas Eve at 9pm and he also throw in a Christmas ggift for me heheheh ( free remaining gas on the cluster, and eco remember last choice) they mainly did good by me for the little miscommunication we had about the software pricing on the first day.
Now to the good stuff, oh my God I don't know what he did this time but the car feels so much better, so much better, the steering wheel is stiff and responsive. The suspensions felt like an AMG car. I felt like I was gripping the ground beneath me like a ture sport car not my big rear wheel drive executive CLS anymore and although I like my steering wheel loose sometimes, today I did love how hard and much more control I had. I need to drive the car a little more but I truly believe the folks at MBhouse did magic tonight and i say it again on A mode with comfort setting the car felt and drove like an AMG.
The last thing I asked them about the driving modes and why there is no information anywhere on what the letter A stand for he said "A mode is S+ But since cluster is not AMG It shows A If you connect with xentry You can see current transmission mode." <-------- whatever that means, but now I'm wondering if someone with the update to the AMG menu would it still show as the letter A instead of the letter S plus? I asked them about it and now just waiting for response which can be a day or so before I hear back ,🤣
My overall experience with their customer service like I said is great but you have to be patient as you will wait and wait and wait for them while they conduct the service and as far as how my vehicle is its excellent and I'm very extremely happy of what I got. I would absolutely recommend them if you have two diamond the money to do it it's so worth it hit me up if you have any questions and I will update you guys if there is any change.

today my apple car play stopped working. The main reason I went to them was for car play. It worked fine for the month and a half i’ve had it (although i dont drive the car much) and today I took it out for a bit and car play did not work. I texted then but no response. Understandable since its new years eve. But i also called and it went straight to VM. Then i couldn’t leave a vm because their vm is not setup. So at this point ai don’t know how to communicate with them.
Not sure who that question was for but I’ll chime in on my experience.
unfortunately i had to get my suspension returned to stock by dealer. There goes $250 that I paid mbhouse plus what I paid the dealer. And all of my time.
next I was initially excited about the carplay. But as I have lived w it I regret the $795 the dang module and install cost me. That’s the real reason I went all the way up there. I wanted to modernize my car a bit but it hasn’t really worked out. The system is temperamental at best. . Half the time I connect my phone and it doesn’t work. Half the time incoming calls don’t work. I have to call the person back. The buttons on the dash don’t work w the system. Meaning if I hit the Navi button on the dash it doesn’t do anything. I have to use the command wheel to navigate. The other thing is if I want to listen to the radio, no problem. It if I want to listen to something off my phone I have to go into audio settings and put it in aux mode. Ok. Fine. Annoying but I do it. Now if I put the satellite radio back on. And a call comes in - guess what? No audio. I have to go back out of car play, into command, and put it into aux mode again. I did eventually speak to mb house about it but the system is the system and it just overall sux. What a waste of money and time and effort.
on the plus side; the little tweaks they made like a mode, AMG menu; full brightness drl, etc are working fine. Overall I’m disappointed w the whole setup.
on the other hand; my EC tune is really nice and will prob justify me keeping my car for a little while longer. But man I wish I had not gone through( the other trouble. So not worth it to me. I don’t mind spending money on good products but this..... this is ehhhhhhh.
i think I am done w modding this car. I had plans for it. It I don’t think I’ll mess around w it anymore. I’ll just enjoy it for what it is.
