Command screen not working

good morning all.

I am new here so forgive me if I am not doing this right.

On Sunday last I was on a journey in my 2016 CLS 220D about 1 Hour into the journey the command screen flashed on and off about 4 times and then went blank.
it is still blank today the radio is working fine and the Bluetooth working perfectly
I would appreciate any help to rectify this matter

thank you in advance.

Bobby.

Most likely you will need someone who can read the codes / errors from the SAM units (main computers of the car). Considering everything else works it does make me think about a defective screen itself or possible defective wiring. Electrical issues hard to pin point without proper scanning.

the good news is
when i went to remove the comand screen one of the screws was not tightened down i think this may have been a factory error
and one of the cables had slipped out
so i removed both the power and the fiber optic cables and cleaned up the area hoked back up both cables and "HEY PRESTO" the screen is working perfect again
retightened both screws and happy now

thank you all for your help and input
