Hello, i have 15' Cls 63, m157 engine, with 38.5k miles that misfires from time to time under load going when pushing above 70 mph. i am the second owner, bought it with 35k miles and plan to change the oil every 4k miles and keep up on the maintenance as usual. changed the spark plugs and this misfires seems to occur a lot less, only once on a road trip from new york to boston in the last 3 months. i know i still need to change the coils. However my mechanic suggested i add an anti wear product to my oil on my next oil change. i am due for one and was wondering if this liqui moly ceratec is safe to use in my engine with mobil 1 0w-40. i heard that liqui moly ceratec could cause spark plug issues due to the resistant nature of ceramic to the flow of electricity. is this issue even something i should worry about? How many oil changes should wait in between adding the next round of ceratec to my engine oil if this is something that recommended. what happens if i add ceratec to my oil once, and never add it again to my oil again upon the next oil changes? could that cause an issue?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Unlikely it will stop the misfires - that has to be as a result of something else. You wanna get that taken care of or stay under 70...

I had a hole in my exhaust and reversed o2 sensors by mistake when I put my downpipes on and it caused the car to misfire. Maybe hole in exhaust ? Shouldn’t be considering how low the miles are but possibly ?
