m276 cam timing code: P001985
I have a Mercedes CLS350 with the engine code M276.952. The check engine light is on, and its coming up with the code P001985.
I have changed 2 x camshafts, 2 x camshaft adjusters 2x solenoid in the left side and planted the oil check valves in both sides and changed chain tensioner in both sides. i havent changed the chain because it seems tight and fine. I have adjusted the timing with the special tool. But as soon as i start the car it runs fine in 1-2 minutes and then the camshaft position changes by itself in the left exhaust side. Any ideas what it can be? it makes me crazy. I have disassembled it all and reassembled it again 3 times now...
Anyone??

8 connectors:
4 cam position sensors
4 cam solenoids/magnets
These can fail, allowing oil into the harness and the oil can migrate into the ECU giving intermittent contact and erratic behavior.
i found out that the last owner has been driving with the engine light on for a while. Could it be because the self adaption values need to be reset with a star diagnose tester?
