For anyone experienced in changing brake pads, I've ordered OEM front and rear brake pads as well as sensors but my garage is charging me about $100 for "Disc polishing". I was wondering how necessary this is? If anyone can give their insights I would really appreciate it.
I was also wondering regarding the A/C filter, does anyone have the manual or know if its possible to change it myself as oppose to giving it to the garage?

I'm guessing the 'polishing' is to remove light etching of the disc, but frankly, anything less than turning the disc or sanding using abrasives is little more than cosmetic (and a way to make an extra $100).
Replacing the inside cabin filter is not difficult. In my '13 CLS550 it's in the underside of the dash inside the passenger footwell. Search YouTube for videos showing the replacement.
Cabin air filter isn’t difficult to remove and install. Just make sure you don’t drop the clips inside the footwell area because I lost one of mine. I have one clip now and it holds up just fine with one, the sliding locking mechanism holds it in place already. My A/C was giving that awful smell; haven’t gotten that smell since replacing it. I also sprayed a bunch of Lysol into the area where you insert the cabin air filter, then left the A/C on full blast with all windows down for like 20-30 minutes.
