Creaking, groaning noise coming from front end when braking (SOLVED)
I was getting a creaking noise when breaking at parking lot speeds. At first I thought it was the brakes, but noticed I could reproduce the noise by pushing down on the front of my hood.
The rubber seals were rubbing against the metal under the hood and were making the noise!
Applied Sil Glyde to the rubber and solved my problem instantly:
