A little bit of a DIY install here for the Panamericana AMG GT grill.

Difficulty: 4/5 - Surprisingly hard.

Here's what follows, and the final result!

Great job, man! Love the looks, but, as you suggested, doubt if should do it since i don't plan modifying anything else...

You should wrap the chrome around the grill like I did. Makes it look much better since you got the black one as well.

Thanks! Fortunately I've got a lot more stuff coming, going for a very aggressive look maybe the chrome version would be better for stock car.

I like a little bit of chrome to balance out, usually I don't fully murder out. As things progress, if I feel the need to black anything else out I will, but doing that all over again is a PITA so probably not.

I see. My gloss black emblems came in yesterday, looks so much better than chrome.

Question: If I just want to replace the front grill, is it possible to replace without removing the whole bumper? I recently had a tree limb fall in front of me while driving and it took out my grill and emblem. Since I don't care about the grill anymore I'm able to cut it and reach in to unsnap the edges as long as there isn't any of the snaps covered by something else that would need to be removed. I'm hoping I'd be able to put the new one in through the hole at an angle and use the emblem hole to reach in and snap in place before attaching the emblem. Trying to save myself from going through insurance, parts seem to be around $400.

It was pretty hard to remove with the bumper off, so I don't think you'll have leverage to do without
