Honestly its slightly more of a hassle to go on forums, but also if you notice in the facebook groups, half the people don't know what a tire pressure light means.

Well I used the car initially to discuss topics related to car maintenance / upgrades / issues. If you're looking for a place to discuss your mods, especially exterior / cosmetic - yes, not much discussion going on, since that is always a matter of prefference and nobody wants his choices to be judged. But if you're looking for a serious performance discussion, or looking for some insight on certain issues - the forums will always have the upper hand.
There are no posts here since the car is relatively new and not many of us experienced issues that were not solved by warranty or dealer. Whenever that does not help, people start digging into places like these.
For example for my other car, 2005 SL500, I actually found the solution on the forum. Even the dealer was not aware of the solution, since they always follow the guidelines from the factory, usually by replacing the parts. Very hard to find an experienced mechanic at the dealership, especially to get him to work on your car. But same time I've seen plenty of retired certified mechanics sharing their knowledge on the forum with fellow enthusiasts.
That's my point of view

hey guys, good to see some activity on this part of the forum. currently own a W211 E55 but about to sell and have been considering a move to the CLS500. (would go a CLS63 but the budget doesn't quite stretch that far.) they look like great kit. i'm not going to be disappointed, am i? cheers.

These are very solid cars and there really haven't been any issues since I bought mine 3 years ago. It should handle more sporty than your E55 too. I have a stage 1 tune on mine and i think it would give a 63 a run for the money. Love it! Welcome!

i've actually found a 2011 CLS63 i like with only 35k miles on the clock. but need to get the sale of mine finalised. dude buying it is a bit unreliable when it comes to communication...
