It's such a nice upgrade for the interior! I don't like the ones with the shift lights and whatnot because it looks too busy for me. Now the only thing is to get this trim wrapped in cf wrap to match - I tried but the contours are too difficult for me so I guess I'll take it to a pro. Obviously I'd prefer real carbon to match best but it is what it is

Looks amazing! I've seen the wheels with the LED lights at the top. No value IMHO.
Wrapping the edges is a bit tricky. I've looked at variety of CF stickers which look excellent but will they hold up in high temps? I dunno.
I'm replacing the door panels in the C350 with leather and the passenger one came with a seat switch and the cover doesn't match. Switching out the bottom portion
and putting it together!

I would ask them what they used to finish the wheel with. It was tough to see but it looks like it could be buffed out. Enjoy.
Yeah, they hold up pretty well in a variety of temperatures if applied well. I have carbon wrap in the c300, I think its in that build thread. I didn't do that great of a job but it's still there after years and hasn't really changed at all.

Which scratch are you referring to?

are they modified versions of they ones that bolt into the diffusers on c63 and e63s? Any more info on those?
Nope, never have needed it. It's pretty hard to damage a wheel in my experience (but I've seen plenty people wear them down somehow.)
I would only use them for intense driving, but I've only gone on 1 supercar cruise since I've had the car/with wheel and it wasn't an issue (3.5 hrs intense driving) - mostly would be for sweaty palms if needed.
Correct, they are the C63 style ones and I did a lot of custom bracket / diffuser modification to make it work.
So they are the w205 style tips, but you modified which exhaust tip bracket? The OEE C218 one, or one of the W212 or W205 ones?
Any more information would be appreciated, as I would like to go this route.
