New Conti Extreme Contact DWS rears
So I went to America's Tire, really wanting to replace the Pirelli P Zeros all around.
They said fronts still have 70%+ tread so recommended I only replace the rears with Conti DWS.
Man what a difference...the fronts hard compound, rebound and lack of traction compared to Contis night and day difference. Not to mention Contis much quieter.
Makes me want to go back and put Contis in the front now also!

Just had the original P Zero's on my '14 550 replaced with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus all around. The PZ's still had plenty of tread on them (the car has less than 30k miles), but they were over 7 years old and were developing cracks in the tread blocks.
You might consider replacing the fronts, Tony, especially if you do any "spirited" driving.

I run Conti DWS06 on my W204 and now 06+ on my W218. I have 4matic both and run them year round. In my opinion they are some of the best tires on the market, if not the best A/S. In Wisconsin winters paired with 4matic I find myself out performing most SUV's, and in summer I've got no grip issues whatsoever.
