Music connects but phone doesn't
I have had no problems with my phone connecting to my car, but all of a sudden the phone won't connect. On the phone's bluetooth, it shows connected for calls and audio. Music from the phone plays through the speakers. When I get a phone call, the music mutes, but I can't answer it from the car. I have to pick up my phone and use it. When I hang up, the music starts playing again. Never had a problem before, I've deleted the phone and added it again and also restarted it of course. 2012 CLS550, TIA

I had a similar issue with my 2012 subaru and pixel 5a. End of the day the car bluetooth was too old for the phone. Thankfully I got T-boned, and had to buy a used car so I'm now rocking a 12 CLS550 - had it 3 entire weeks and my left rear air bag is leaking. Anyway, grab a few friends with different phones and see how it goes. You may just need an older phone.
