Oil Change Help
Some notes:
I'm not well versed in the MB world, but I'm pretty sure a 2017 CLS500 is a C218
My dad needs an oil change, I would like to do it for him.
I don't have access to the car, so I would do it when he comes to visit
Unsure what I need, or if I need anything special?
Just downloaded the manual
says the following
8.5 US qt (8.0 l)
Use only SAE 0W-40 or SAE 5W-40 engine oils for Mercedes‑AMG vehicles
Does that only apply to AMG?
What do you use? I will probably pickup Mobil or Castrol
Oil Filter seems to be at the top, do you guys recommend picking up the filter from MB?
Does the filter come with the O-Ring cap?
Can I use an oil extractor?
Thanks!

I use an extractor and change mine topside. It's easier since I live in an apartment. 0-40 Mobil 1 for filters and the oil. I don't have an AMG though.

0w-40 and you can buy Mann filter on amazon if they have it for the engine which is the same thing as original, or original is fine. Don't buy generics.
