SRS malfunctiion--car won't start

This morning--the car wouldn't start and I got an SRS malfunction dash warning light. The car is dead
Is this a tow ? I did read on a forum search that somehow this could be related to a battery problem and if I replaced it--the problem could correct. This didn't sound right--and since the car is dead--I can't get a read on my current batteries
It's Sunday so I'm dead in the water
ANY advice/info would really be appreciated
thanks Dave

Make sure the secondary batt is good, also.
You are correct, all those modules take a lot of juice.

Left my door open for probably 15 minutes while having a conversation with someone. Drained my battery and I learned my lesson.
