2012 CLS C218 4Matic Front end noise over speed bumps?
Hi there!
As title says, I'm having some front-end creaking/squeaking when going over speed bumps at low speed. There isn't really any clunking or thudding that happens when driving, but I have noticed that occasionally when going over bumps in a slow turn, like turning into a parking lot over a bumpy curb. I've had my left front air strut replaced because the dealer said that the tech heard something broken/loose in it, but that didn't improve anything. I have some ideas as to what the problem could be, but I would greatly appreciate some experiences from other owners. The dealer has looked at it a few times and has not found anything wrong except the one strut.
The noise is a lot more prominent in the 2nd speed bump in the clip below!
