M276 DE35 to M276 DELA30 Engine Swap?
Good day everyone,
I'm new in this forum and recently I have been actively searching for threads/discussions related to engine swap from a M276 NA to M276 Turbo. Unfortunately I am not able to gather more info that I need thus I would like to seek some help and advice from fellow members here.
I owned a 2013 petrol CLS350 (W218), it is having some issues on oil leaks due to old age and thus I am considering to do a swap. I am able to find a half-cut of a 2015 CLS400. That half-cut CLS400 is completed with ECU, Engine, Transmission , Wiring and cluster. Basically the entire front is there and in good shape. My question is how difficult it is to swap the entire front half from the CLS400 into my CLS350? I understand that hardware wise is do-able, however I am not sure with the software part. What will be the issues that I will face? I wasn't able to locate a half-cut CLS550 in my country and unfortunately a year 2016 CLS400 is too expensive in my country due to all the ridiculous tax.
