Blind spot radar replacment, plug and play?

Blind spot radar replacment, plug and play?
Hi.
Simple question. If you change a blind spot radar (thats broken) on one side of the car for a new one.. Do you then need to program the new one in? (with some special mercedes software or something els). Or is the new radar just plug and play? connect the harness, erase fault code and then the system will work again?
The car we are talking about is a 2013 X218 CLS Shooting brake
