Having my cls 550s front left air strut replaced with an aftermarket one and was wondering if i needed the compressor replaced as well since it's an aftermarket piece. Dealership has been bsing me about fixing it and i don't want to buy just the one part if i need to replace both parts. Was driving on the freeway when i heard a loud bang or pop like my tire popped or exploded, car indicator was saying vehicle too low and to pull over & stop driving. Car drives fine but just sags low on driver front left side. All help or opinions are appreciated, thanks. Also getting the part from 1 aauto if anyone has opinions on them as well thanks.
Could be a bad strut. I had ours fronts replaced and a few months later when the rear were done, they replaced under warranty one of the fronts.
Just bad both struts replaced and as soon as i got home i noticed it was sagging. When i took it in, it didn’t do that. ADS turns off as well at 70/75mhp. Can i ask what warranty you have because I’m shopping for a new one. And is it possible to upgrade to a better plan if you already have one? My current warranty didn’t cover suspension
