‘13 CLS 550 4Matic shuddering 2k RPM
My CLS has 117k miles and has just started shuddering under light acceleration at around 1500-2000 RPMs. There’s a little fluctuation in the RPMS when this happens. If I accelerate harder, it doesn’t do it at all, it’s just when I’m babying the throttle. Doesn’t happen at idle, not necessarily just when shifting, just around lower RPMS at light load. Not even while coasting. I’ve read a lot into it and have seen that it could be anything from the driveshaft, motor and trans mounts, CV shafts, the torque converter, or even an obstruction in the air filters. Before I spend several thousands on random parts trying to fix it, what seems most likely with these symptoms? No check engine lights or codes whatsoever
