2013 CLS550 base, wiring and engine componet locations not adding up
So I have this car and there are a few codes, all dealing with short to grounds. So while I was replacing the oil filter housing low cap that was leaking I found that the thermostat temp sensor had 3 extra wires in the loom. It would make sense that they would go to what should be an oil pressure sensor on the oil filter housing. But there isn't a pressure sensor there.

Try finding the wiring schematic for your model and check the color coding of the wires and where they go to.
I did that, I have Xentry and WIS etc.
I need to figure out which model Merc used a M278 or M157 that had the oil pressure sensor on the oil filter housing. That way I can compare and contrast wiring colours to make heads of tails of what's going on.
