possible transmission trouble??

Angry possible transmission trouble??

around 3 months ago I ran into an issue on my 2014 cls550 base where whenever I put the car into park on a slight incline it would roll back more than usual until I put the car into drive and back into park again. coincidentally the same week one of my rear airmatic bags went kaput so I switched over to coilovers and assume the bags were the issue. after getting the vehicle back from the shop I noticed an insane amount of codes being thrown regarding the car not being in park whenever I turned it on, and other servicing codes. whenever I went to put the car into drive, I noticed it would not go into drive or reverse out of park immediately, and it took a few pushes to get it into gear. my original guess in the first place before the airmatic system issue was that the parking pawl in my transmission had gone bad, or my trans as a whole was on it's last leg. after taking it to the shop again they found the "intelligent server module" in my car was the issue, and replaced it setting by back around 4 grand. I just got the car back and am still facing the exact issues as before. is it possible that my gear selector module or parking pawl is the sole issue, or is it most likely that my transmission is going bad?

Did the workshop code the new ISM? It needs to be coded to the vehicles VIN.

when i turn the car on it’ll say “risk of vehicle rolling away service required”, “service required do not shift gears visit dealer”, and a few times was displayed to “check brake pad wear” which was out of the blue and went away.

$4k for an ISM?? What is it made out of gold? I think list price for this module is $8XX. I would love to see the receipt from this shop. Also, did you have to provide copy of your driver's license and proof of ownership to the shop??? It is required in order to purchase the ISM, as this is part of the security of the car. Just by reading your description, it seems to be an issue with communication. The parking pawl in this transmission is not monitored. It seems more like the ISM is not getting the message send over the CAN by the steering column module. Do you have Xentry available?
