CLS 500C
New Owner has a question!!!
Hi, Every CLS OWNER!!! I today bought CLS 500C Silver One. My car has no keyless go package in the vehicle, but I want to install it if it is possible even though it costs a lot. I couldn't wait to get the CLS that has keyless go package because I had to wait about 2 month to get the vehicle that has keyless go package. Is here anyone who knows about the availability?

my guess is that you can get several aftermarket systems that will start the car like a keyless go. unfortunately it will not work through the same connections as the rest of your car. my son had a remote starter kit put on his car - he actually starts it up from inside the house with the click of his key.

while itd be a nice feature to have, remote start, its not at all the same as keyless go.
BTW- have you made any posts comparing your 7 to the CLS? Id love to hear what you have to say as an owner of both!
Thanks in advance.

I am disapointed in keyless go.
1) the switch behind the handle to unlock the door is a very cheap "plasticy" thing. (Audi has a cool infra-red sensor)
2) you cannot just walk away from the car and it locks automatically, you must physically press a button on the door to lock it. ( I know, it's called keyless-go not keyless lock
