2007 ML 320CDI
I agree, it sounds selfish, but I don't want it to erode the prestige of our cars. Can you imagine worse: a diesel version like a CLS 400CDI, or something?

SL-500 (mine), Ferrari Spider convertible (was Husbands, mine now!)
I agree the streets will be flooded with the cars which spoils the uniqueness (just like the E).
Having said this, everything is about profit, so MB shurely will do it.....

Need to start a petition - no CLS350 in the U.S. - everyday I take my E out of the garage I pass another one within the first few minutes - I can only hope MB doesn't do it, but I'm sure they will - but there is no longer an SL 320 and there are no CL350's so who knows - The S is the exception, but it probbaly depends on where they see the bar with this car - guess we'll have to wait and see but you know my opionion.

Not a serious issue here.
The new loaded GS430 costs only 73% the price of a CLS350 w/o options here in Taiwan.
The euro exchange rate will ruin the market of German luxury cars outside the North America.

Yeah - in Europe, while we're having all versions, there is still no possibility to say that roads are flooded by the CLS
But as far as i know US Market it would be true - if the CLS 350 appears in US, there will be huge decrease of the CLSs uniqueness
I've seen CLS only 1 time on the street!!
E class is quite uncommon car, but CL and SL are really rare
Are you kind of jealous? :p

v6 CLS
no ClS 350 Please, as much as I would like the car to be much more affordable, If i am spending the big bucks, I don't want every one in a lower, lets say income range to be able to take the tags off the back through some nice wheels on and look like they paid the same as me when i paid $20 ro $30,000 more. I think I am just going to wait until this time next year and pick up a used AMG CLS. then when I see a CLS 500 i can blow by them. I am not trying to sound like a *****, but its hard to get that feeling like I have a cool unique car, when people can copy you for less.

CLS 350 and R230
Hi,
itīs almost every day I see a CLS. Most are 350 and I saw them most in Hamburg.
It sucks, because I wanted a car thatīs not seen every day.
But...wait...maybe there will be a CLS 200 (4 cyl.) one day... :p
Hope you all enjoy your CLSīs or the waiting for it.

CLS 550
Which is a good point BTW. If you want a cheaper version of a CLS get a Volkswagen CC or Hyundai Sonata Turbo. With the Hyundai you'll look like you're in a CLS from the side and a Lexus iS from the rear. Best of both worlds!

CLS500 & C230 Kompressor
Here in Oklahoma City, I will go weeks between CLS sightings! Love to see the heads turn as I drive by. Almost everytime I park the car, people just stop and stare at the car!!!
