Thinking about the CLS mods
In general
(1) Wooden/leather steering wheel
The touch is great, I'm going to find a leather shop
to custom one & keep the factory touch shift function.
anyway it has to match (8)
(2) Audio upgrade
A shop quotes me the package, MB-quartz speakers
sub_woofer,Alpine amp in all.
They've done few W219s & many W211s.
(3) Body kits
No matter the tuner is, AMG, Brabus, Carlsson...
they all look good to me.
Wondering if the C55 quad exhaust can be adapted
on the CLS.
(4) 6000K (or higher) up front
Bi-xenon/parking/fog lights in the same color beam.
(5) Lighter (chrome) rims
There're a lot of good looking rims
(6) brake upgrade
(7) Chrome head/tail light rings
(8) Change the trim
Factory trim looks old fashion to me, no offense
Like the Al trim, I've no idea where to find it.
For 350 only
(1) Suspension upgrade, PSS-9 is my favorite choice.

MKB 300 ps solution sounds simple,they adapt ecu only.
meanwhile I plan to swap a lighter crank pulley(T6061) and a pair of metal cats.
expecting ~ 310 ps in the end.

Same here, long list to wait the CLS in DCT.
You can't even see their demo car.
My family are attracted by the new GS, debut middle of March, the GS got the Chinese interface 1st time I saw it in luxury import cars and almost put my order for one.
Luckily I found a dealer had just received a batch of six CLS last Saturday,deliever at any time.

500 should be out in April but the 350's and 55's will be arriving in June. There is a 1 year waiting list on the CLS if you order right now.

In Germany the Carlsson front lip for CLS in AMG-trim will be available in ca. 2 weeks (according to my MB-dealer, who is doing a lot of business with Carlsson Germany)....so I recommend you to contact Carlsson NA in Miami to have the part ordered for you already now..."the early bird catches the worm"! :p

For mature MB SOHC engines, we found capable tuners
everywhere.
This's a brand new DOHC engine, should we count on only those German tuners such as MKB, Brabus and Carlsson in the first place ?

Not always the case. DMS has been tuning engines for a while now i know the owner of the compay and he does a very good job and puts a lot of detail into his work. I have found the top MB tuners not to focus much on ECU tuning as they do on designing body kits, wheels, and exhausts. Sure they do provide a good increase in power by engine superchargers or larger displacements but I would not be surprised if they hired an outside company to do the ECU tuning. Who knows. But i would trust DMS since in the UK alone they have over 1100 repeat customers.

Please call official importer of Carlsson in North America, phone no. is 305-7173133, they should be able to give you the addresss of the nearest Carlsson dealer in your area.

I asked Carlsson Germany today and they told me that the aerokit for CLS is supposed to be available from the factory in the next 2 weeks. Please get in touch with Mrs. Beatrix Muench from Carlsson Germany, she is the responsable Export Manager for Asia and will ask the official omporter in HK to submit you an offer asap. Her E-mail address is muench@carlsson.de.
Mrs. Muench also should be able to provide you with more detailed information about the CLS-parts.

(4) Carlsson spoiler
(5) Carlsson rear bumper
I've to find a set of quad tips to match this aero kits.

get the carlsson exhaust with the carlsson bumper, u dont have to do it all the way back, just after the cats...
