It seems there is a recall for the current E and CLS. Anyone knows what the problem is?? How do you find out that the car has a problem. I havent seen any problem yet.(I have a CLS500 and it was March Dilivery)

Yes, local dealer has just informed me.
Don't feel anything wrong though.

Sorry to hear. Imho the supplier of the part/software in question (Bosch?)that pertains to the E and unfortunately the CLS, deserves some of the blame as well. Making a 1st time buyer a bit nervous. You do take a chance with a 1st year model with a new slush box. I can bet they are already working on a transmission software update. BMW seat heat is flaming @$$es in the E60 5 series and how many versions of software updates have been required in it and the 7 series? Imho manufacturers are experimenting with too many electrons and only some get it right the 1st time around. According to the news, they were asking for Shrempp's head yesterday but gave the board a vote of confidence.
