What the buck?

Still feeling the bucking motion everytime i drive.
It is most noticeable when I am slowing to a stop - can feel each downshift the car is making until stopped. I have 300 miles on the car and it doesn't seem to be going away. Does it every go away? And, why does this occur? In my 97 BMW, I can't feel it shift at all and certainly no bucking.

Thanks.

It could be the electronic brake control that you're feeling, too.

This happened to me last night and then the car just flat out died. Check engine light blaring; lol and the car wont even go into gear.

That's not good.

It feels like someone is driving a stick-shift for the first time.

This can't be right, can it?

I also feel this "loose/swaying" feeling when in turns. Almost like when your back wheels hit a small piece of ice a lose traction for a second. Only problem, it is 80 degrees here and no sign of ice.

You're correct, that can't be right...mine definitely does a powerful, but meaningful downshift when I go down hills or slow down, but it is a smooth powerful transition, vs what you describe...go see your dealer, I am sure it's not a big issue.

I wonder if this issue has anything to do with the recall - although, I have yet to be notified.

The brake foot pedal is not directly attached to the brake system. there is an electronic device that transmits the braking level to the system, and provides feedback to the pedal so you feel you have direct control like old school brakes.
