mbusa now lists the drive dynamic seats as part of the "premium" package ..implying that they are no longer just for 55's. Car & Driver 5/05 tested a cls 500 and listed the separate prices for the dd seats either driver or passenger. Does anyone really know what's up with the dd seats?

DD seats are only available for the 55 - not for the 500.

Sounds confident and assured, but what about the mbusa site info?

Just put my order in a few weeks ago and the last info the sales advisor told me was it was CLS55 only.Did not see it listed under the premium package on his order screen. Hmm?

Ordered my cls in January, at that time the mbusa adv lit did not list the drive dynamic seats, but the mbusa site -build your own- under the "comfort" option -details, clearly stated it included the dd seats (with the pulse feature.) When the car was received in April the dd seats were not in it. As you might imagine, I pitched a fit. The dealer tried to get the seats per the site, Benz refused, offered me a refund. We worked it out ok, and Benz changed the mbusa site. Now it looks like the seats are part of the "premium pkg." Dealer says has far as he can find out, it is yet more misleading info on the site that benz has not corrected. If not, they will cough up the seats. Benz has been putting the dd seats on 500's that they provide for auto reviews.
