Do NOT use goo-gone

Removing stickers? Goo-gone will also remove your paint! One owner has had positive results, I tried it and paint is damaged. Use a hair dryer to soften the plastic sticker, scrape with finger nails - don't try and talk your significant other into this - she will never forgive you. Blue Poly polishwax/cleaner takes the "sticky" right off and doesn't damage the paint.

do not use goo gone

Before you try any "solvents" try using the tape/decal itself. The sticky side of the tape will pick up small remaining bits of adhesive left behind. Put the tape over the remaining adhesive and pull sharply, at an angle. Before you use any solvent whatsoever, if you must - be sure and test it on some inconspicuous spot, so if it damages the material it won't be evident.DO NOT USE WD-40, IT IS PENETRATING OIL AND WILL SOAK IN.
