Whats the problem?

I am probably going to get flamed for this...so be it. But just wondered what it takes to get some questions answered on this Forum? Have asked several previous questions, many viewers, but no replies and also noticed that several other posters have asked for help and also no replies? Perhaps it's because there are just so few CLS500 drivers around..or what? I am on another Forum, the C6 Board for Corvettes and the amount of help, questions, comraderie therein is overwhelming with info.............so I am going to try again and if anytime(once I get used to the car and acquire more info, as I'm not the most mechanically minded person) I can return your questions, I will certainly try to do so.

Would greatly appreciate what mpg you are getting? Approx how many miles are you getting to a full tank and I appreciate it depends on driving habits.
The radio on certain FM programs appears to cut out occassionaly..is this normal?
How do you get your overall mpg?...everytime I start, it seems to reset itself with info...mpg, distance, time, etc.
Noticed quite a loud road noise,as opposed to a quiet ride...is this due to the tires? Is this because they are Y rated tires, would you be able to get 15K out of them driving in a sensible fashion?

Any help here and response, more than appreciated.

p.s. So far I am delighted with the car..but lots to learn, including reading the navigation manual....never had nav before

No offense here but I think you are asking basic questions addressed in your owner's manual, hence the crappy response...

No offence taken, but where in the owners manual does it actually state mpg average? I am trying to evaluate several CLS500 drivers averages? Where does it state if it is normal to hear a loud tire noise? Where does it state that it might be necessary to change tires between 10-15K?(I only mention this has others here have posted a similar question and they got no response and even if it did state this, is it so terrible to give me a heads up beforehand?
I don't know, perhaps this is the wrong board for me. Sad really. As I said previously, I am a member on the Corvette Forum, owning a C6 and I don't think once anyone has told me to read the manual beforehand, giving information that I can't find as I wouldn't ask in the first place and even if I did miss reading something from the manual, whats wrong with someone putting me in the right direction??
What am I missing here?

This is a fantastic forum, it's just that the CLS is a relatively new car. Compare it to the R230 forum, lots of traffic there, but that's because it's a .. well.. in a sense, old car.

Your mpg average should be on the sticker when you bought the car.
Anyways, you should be able to tell your mileage from your trip computer

The reason your tires need to be replaced is because they are sports car tires.

frankly, i dont care about gas mileage. i own the car, what ever it gets it gets, not like im going to drive it less to save cash. i have a feeling others may feel the same, hence the lack of responses...the other issues u mention have an infinite amount of factors that could be the cause, so again, really hard to comment on any of those.

Well just got mine in Feb drove it down to South Beach from Jersey i was getting 439 miles to the tank it was all highway crusing with a lot of cruise control use. The Car is super quiet if you ask me, i mean i get into other cars and i can't believe everyting you hear compare to the CLS. The Nav is very simple works well for me, just read up on it especially if its your first nav system. The Radio cut out thing has never happened to me so you might want to get that looked at. I think the car is amazing watch the rims when parking against a curb scuffed one up the other day really pissed me off. I was using the system showing the average mpg and that is worked well bu it also would restart itself after the car would be off for over something like two hours i'm going to ask the dealership about that when i bring it in for its service if you hear anyhing about this please post it. It was cool though it told me how long i was driving how many miles and average speed i was checking it out the whole trip. Well if i can help in anyway let me know!!

Still very FEW CLS owners in this forum.
Also Z06 owners are more of "car enthusist" since it is true sports car.
No wonder you will be getting more reply/answers in Z06 forum.

I also own supercharged S2000, and usually MB forum seems deadly calm compare to many other sports car forums.
