Computer message?

2 hours ago my computer said "EPS seek workshop immediately" and another message that said "Headlamps not available?" Just checked it in the garage and there are now no messages. Any comments and what does ESP mean?
Thx.

ESP stands for Electronic Stability Program. It generally operates traction control and applies braking or cuts power in situations where you may be loosing grip. In other words you need to have it looked at. It could just be a computer glitch but you may actually have a problem so you should take it into the shop. It will be safe to drive just dont push it too hard. ABS etc... should all be working fine.

Easy One! I had the exact messages (both of em) the day I drove off the lot. The mechanic said a steerling module/sonsor in the steering column had to be replaced. Sure enough, a quick job and both messages have disappeared.

I can't recall if my seat settings were erased or not.

If they discontect the battery while working on it loses the seat settings.
