Side markers
Guys, the clear side markers for the W211 already came out. I am hoping we can find some for the CLS. I just e-mailed one of the EBay sellers and asked them if they can get some, or custom make some for people like me. How difficult is it to make those clear markers anyways? Why does it always take years before they come out?

don't really have an answer to your questions, but I did read something today in the W203 forums in reference to the clear side-markers that both made me laugh, and is very very true !

Back to this topic, I do not think it is that expensive to make a housing, it is just to be like any business deal supply and demand... I don't think any those manufactures willing to invest in CLS yet due to the same reason. If one day they make them, I hope they will think twice since we pay a good amount for our car, at least me I don't mind to spend little more to have a good quality one. Agree with me?

Noone has the markers for the CLS although they carry them for the E-class. They would not disclose ther sources either. I will try to locate some Taiwanese manufacturers directly and see if we can get some made for us CLS owners.

I have a black CLS55 and I was looking for clear side markers. I have to say those big orange things on US spec cars looked pretty cheesy and "bolt on" However, clear ones do not look nice on a dark car. I did however found soem smoked ones and they looked great. check out the supplier

I am not a big fan of smoked glass, especially on a silver car. I did my best searching the web but could not find any Taiwanese manufacturers of auto light. I did go to the Taiwanese EBay and after 2 hours I finally navigated to the auto lights section...No luck again. This sucks
