Need advice to give to my father.
He's an old fashioned guy with a W140 S500
he loves it cause of the interior room as he doesn't drive himself, he's always chauffered around.
Needs to change the car now so he's hesitating between CLS500 or new 2006 S500. How does interior space compare between the 2 models? also options for rear seated paasengers?

If he's being chauffered around, there is NO question it should be the S500 IMHO. The CLS500 could feel tight & claustrophobic in the back seat. The CLS is a coupe, designed mainly with only the driver in mind. The S is a luxury sedan, designed with the the comfort of BOTH driver and passengers taken into consideration.

I agree. CLS only got 4 seats and it is not designed comfort for for the driver AND passengers not to metion the small rear passenger leg room... Don't get me wrong, I have 3 people family and my kid is only 9 years old therefore CLS suite me very well more then the S.Originally Posted by cannga
