Car wheel lock/start problem.

Car wheel lock/start problem.
Washed the car.Started car up with keyless.Turned wheels to get at wells easier.Turned wheels to the stop(did not mean to go that far) then backed off a bit.(at least so I thought) Shut car off.
Cleaned wheelwell. Get in to start car and turn wheels. Did not get an iginition response from keyless. Tried a few times. No joy. Used key could not get ignition movement. Could not get any movement from steering wheel.Did not want to force. Just short of dialing up MB service, tried one last time. Steering wheel unlocked car started normally with keyless.
Has this happened to anyone here?
