Just to make sure ship indoor and with insurance. FYI - I shipped my 996 from NJ to CA and it was spotless but my ML was million dead bugs all over the windshield and took me weeks to clean that...

Try Intercity Lines, average between $1600 & $1900 coast to coast. I understand these guys are the only trucking company authorized by Porsche to transport the Carrera GT.

I used this company to ship my a6 to my little brother in LA from NYC and it was like 900. The car got there in like 7 days and he picked it up at the port. If I wanted it to be delivered directly to him it was like 150 more.

Try Passport Transport. Used to be the best as an independent, now are owned/operated by FedEx. All enclosed transporters, and most of the drivers have years of experience with $$$$$ cars... there were 2 Ferrari Stradales and an Enzo that rolled cross-country with my E. Passport.fedex.com is their site.

The auto transport for mine from Chicago to SLC (VIP Transport outta Charlotte...LOVED UM BY THE WAY!!!! 704-921-2626) DON'T SKIMP ON AUTO TRANSPORT..YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE!!!

DO NOT GO OPEN transport and ask the shipper if they transfer the car at all along the way. Sometimes even guys that tell you covered transport will ship your car (covered) to a lot somewhere and it will sit there until the next covered transport can swing by and pick it up. Make sure you are getting what's called "door to door"

I can tell you story after horror story of open transport.

Favorite is the guy that had I think a Lexus delivered with a massive scratch on the hood....I mean MASSIVE and deep....oh yeah, window was busted out too. Driver of the truck was laughing as he rolled her down then drove away.

DON'T SKIMP ON AUTO TRANSPORT..YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE!!!

I also used Passport 'FedEx'.
From the Poconos to Denver was a little over $1k. That was abour 8 yrs. ago.
The truck driver documented every little defect in the paint with me there as a witness. He also put on white gloves before he drove the car in the truck.
I'd use them again.
