For those of you leasing

hey guys,
my lease on my e class is up in march. I really want to try to get into a cls lease. For those of you who are leasing what are your payments? What did you put down? Is the residual on this car good? I want to put 3k down and pay under $900. Am i dreaming here?

You are dreaming. Going off a 69K car with 48 Month lease...figure about 500 cap reduction with the 3K money you are putting down..using a .333% money factor (~ what you will get with MB Credit) you are at approximately $1021 including Cali (Orange County) tax.

The residual is 55% making this car a great lease option. My payments on my $74,600 sticker is 1140 w/ Lo Jack & Tax. Just try to get the cost of car down, then negotiate a better money factor. On my car I negotiated it $1700 off or so. US Credit and Chase didn't want to finance me so I had to use MB Credit which typically costs more but also uses a higher residual. Hope this helps.

You can always try a Credit Union like Wescom or First City in So. Cal? or any Credit Union in your area. They will usually have the lowest Interest rates than market. or Try Autoland.com.

I leased my car from MB credit. I shopped around first and MB matched the lowest price.

Trust me you could have probably done better if MB Credit matched it...I've delt with them too and many a time, until I saw the light.

Either way enjoy your CLS .
