Winter Tires
Quick question to all you knowledgeable guys out there ! At the moment I have the following tires sizes fitted ; Front 255/35/19 96y and Rear 285/30/19 98y , looking to put on winter tyres & have been offered the following sizes Front 255/45/19 & Rear 295/30/19 !! Will these cause the car any problems with traction control etc , MB dealer hasnt got a clue & really was no help .

I am no expert, but going from a 35 to a 45 series tire without reducing the section width sounds like the tire is going to be much taller overall.

Bingo !
I have now fitted Dunlop 255/35/R19 Winter Sport to the front and 275/30/R19 Continental Winter [Should be 285/30/R19]
I can say that I am not noticing any difference with the driving on norrmal road conditions, was advised by MB not to put the 275/30 /R19 on the rear as the traction control would skip & play havoc.

Will post some pics later on , I just sold a set of 17" AMG Wheels[imaculate] c/w Toyo winter tyres , 225/40/17R High Speed for £200/ $356 Tyres were 90% Ex My CLK .
They were just taking up to much room in the garage reckon he got a bargain.
