I'm coming from a E class and had the black wood interior and was wondering if there anyone that switched the interior of the cls55 which i think has the same black wood interior and how much it ran them

Mine is coming stock with that interior but I had to purchase the Designo for $7k.

Is there an aftermarket company that will do it?

I wanted the Black wood also. I just called my dealer and asked if I could add it to my order and they said it is only available on the AMG.

Does anyone know if this is true.

couldn't we just order the amg interior from the dealer?

They told me I couldn't do it. If anyone knows different let me know.

It is my impression that the black wood can be ordered only with the designo package on either the cls500 or cls55. Still not on the mbusa site though.

Hey TraumaDoc did you order a CLS500 or 55 AMG. I will call my dealer today and request the Designo Package. Does that package specify interior and exterior colors also?

The Designo with the black wood can only be ordered as a single package. Graphite gray exterior with paino black wood and porcelain/charcoal interior. It is available on the CLS500 and the CLS55. Here are links to photos of each. Still not on the mbusa site but they DO exist already.

I love that package. The only thing is I have a similar interior color on my Lexus IS300 and it is a pain in the @$$ to maintain. I will think about it a little before pulling the trigger on it.
