First service?

I just took the CLS in for its first service after 6 months of ownership, quite expensive for a simple oil and filter change. 4000 HKD which is about US$500. How much is everyone else paying around the world?

A fraction of that... I take it in for oil ever 6500 (13K is nuts!) and I tell them what to do.. I think that the 13K service as it's described in the maintenance book is a "glorified oil change" at best.. and a waste of money. For the $500, I can get the transmission flushed, coolant flushed, and oil changed and still have enough cash left over for a 1 hour inspection of the entire car!

I do the same thing.

The oil change is about a $100 tops!!! (synthetic)
