"Key chime"

After reading several threads in the forum regarding deleting the annoying "Please take your Key" chimes (KeylessGO related?), I was hopefull I could get rid of this annoyance.

When my car was in for service, I asked my dealer to delete it. I was told: "No version coding available for chimes". Has anyone been able to get a coding for this? CLS500 Keyless Go

This is my one complaint about the car. The only way I know to shut-it-up is to hit the up arrow on the steering wheel. But this only lasts until the next time... I have been told by the dealer there is nothing they can do. Perhaps someone else has some better news?

on the same note, how do you turn off the lower tire indication beep? I have new wheels and it is so annoying to deal with the runflat indicator all of the time.

Did you reactivate the tire inspection? Suppose it should be adjusted according to your current tire pressure.

I had mine turned off by my dealer. Unfortunately, I don't know specifically *how* they did it. But, the news is, it is possible to do.

Thanks rmeltz1 for the tip using the up arrow on the wheel. Not a bad solution. It doesn't look like there is permanant fix being discussed.
