Angry Need some help?

Had CLS500 since last May and would say it's been in Service for 6 weeks with various problems. I like the car but here is what has been happening.
In SW Florida Naples and I don't think much of my local dealer. Apart from the usual malfunctions when first new and the fact that my audio kept cutting out, all seemed to be going OK. Then the seats started to creak..car went in for a week..had it for two days and it started again...took it back and another 10 days and it was worse.....2 weeks later the same happened again and the wife's seat was appalling. They appear to have fixed this now.
About 5 months ago on starting the car and when I took my foot off the pedal, there was a ticking noise which was bad for the first 10 minutes and then disappeared. Took it back in again, they had the car for 10 days(what the hell are they doing?) and couldn't find the problem..consulted with Mercedes, who implied that I was using low grade fuel and I immediately told them to get real..I only use Tier 1 premium grades. Had the car for a week and the same thing happened..back again and they said something about the lifters/risers and excuse my ignorance as I am not totally mechanically minded and particularly mad as on 3 occassions I have asked them to send me the Invoice details which would discuss all they are supposed to have done(and therefore tell you and myself what they were or meant have done to the car) and they have each time most conveniently forgot to give them to me or send them to me. Also rang the Manager of the Showroom/dealer and expressed my annoyance..he said somebody from Mercedes would be contacting me and they never did!!
The car is going back in next Monday as it is making now loud ticking noises and this time not going away..although at cold start it's most noticeable. It's extremely obvious at slow speeds and when you take the foot off the accelerator. Also feel the car is much noisier than before. The Service manager said they wanted it for sometime and would work with Mercedes and even might consider putting in a new engine(WTF?) Have I got a Lemon on my hands? What do do. Am I able to speak to somebody at Mercedes in charge at HO..any leads, any names would be most appreciative, as getting quite concerned. Other little things have occurred that lead me to believe that my local dealer has absolutely no idea what they are doing..such as on two occassions when I asked them to put extra pressure in the tires(I checked them previously)..thy were never attended to, when I was told it was done and I also had to inform them how one could read the oil level from the computer...Head of Service was not aware of the procedure!!!

I obviously do not want them playing/tinkering/experimenting with the car, if they are not capable in the first place. To me this sounds like a fuel injection problem, but perhaps it's more serious.............anyone out there have any suggestions how to tackle this and thank you in advance for your time and responses.

Keep builing up days out of service till you hit the magic number (30) and it's lemon law time.

I had E320 2003 and I claimed lemon law last years. It free to do it why not? Benz will pay for your attoreny fee. I read your story you have a strong case to win. I hope you keep all the invoice from day one you brought your car to the dealer for repair. Go here look for Nick http://www.lemonauto.com/. He help me before. Good luck

Holy cow, konigstiger, I thought you were the one with problems. Glad it isn't, with all due respect to the one that is.
