How much are CLS's after tax?

I know we all live in different parts of the world (mainly in North America). Can you guys give me an estimated price. I'm very interested in one but my finance isn't up to par so I can't afford it yet. However, I'd like to have a heads up on how much I should be expecting to fork out for this stunning car.

I hate to say this but you know what they say.... "If you have to ask the price, you probably can't afford it anyway". One question though... If your finances aren't up to par, why (in the world) would you be considering buying such an expensive car? Have you ever heard the term "You are old enough now that you wants won't hurt you". Just go out and pay cash for a nice Acura TL like I did rather than pony up over twice as much and make payments on this car? IMHO you should NEVER lease a car you can't afford to buy.

Even a rich man asks how much a vehicle so it is not entirely true. As for me, my finance isn't up to par because I have an ML that needs fixing, just recently got the new 325i with premium and m-wheel package. I wouldn't be spending most of my $ for a CLS anyway, it's just at the moment it's either that car or something else.

It don't mean I can't afford it haha. I'm not offended by what you say at all cause i've heard those lines before. I was just curious on how much it cost and that's that. Simple answers that get right to the point would be nice fellas.

just build one the way you want on the merc site.. that would be the retail price... then it depend on part of the country on if it would be sold at that price or over sticker.. if you want to fork out a little bit less maybe consider getting a low mile 2nd hand one.. like 2000miles or something.. i know they have a few here in Boston..

just answer the "poor" guys answer folks! geeeeezzz....

depending on options, you're looking at 70k-80k tax included. I wouldnt pay no more then $500 over invoice on an 06 or 07 model. matter of fact, I just ordered my CLS550 for $500 over invoice.

You can't get 500 over invoice in south florida. Too much demand, trust me.

Where did you order your car? My dealer here in NJ has no actual pricing yet for the CLS550

Thanks.
Prestige at Paramus, I have brought 2 cars from them already... though my salesman left a while back, and I have this new guy who has no clue.

Any US Dealer can sell you a US car under the MBZ European Delivery Program. You order exactly the car you want and the price is 7% less than list price plus you don't pay the $775 dealer prep charge. The MB website says $61,657 for a basic CLS500. Plus the gas guzzler tax of $1,300. Maybe the new V-8 engine for 2007 won't have the gas guzzler tax.

Right, but the dealer here (biggest in the area) only took my order, they haven't given the "exact" pricing yet and, of course, we haven't negociated the price... they don't even have the exact build date.
