Help With Unlocking Dvd In Comand System
OK I KNOW ALL U GUYS TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE...BUT I HEARD THAT THEY ARE SELLING A GUIDE TO UNLOCKING THE DVD FEATURE ON THE COMAND SYSTEM IF THIS THING REALLY WORKS CAN ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE LINK TO THE GUIDE.....(not to the bidding the actual site for the guide)..TANXXXXX

man i was hoping that wasnt true..
oh well i guess illl just put a aftermarket dvd player in the back instead, i dont feel like paying 2500 dollars for a dvd player in the front of teh car i rather have it in teh back...thanks anyways i appreciate it

Ok cheers for the info , Im from Europe do you know where I can purchase the module/component ? I will aslo be on vacation in New York then on to L.A, Vagas & Sandiego for three weeks ! If the item can be purchased there can you advise name & any contact details this would be most appreciated.

This topic has been discussed numerous times. The way I understand is early W211 are capable to a secret menu and able to enable/disable this features. But after those batch, from 04+ on, all C219 and W211, are not capable to do that at all. In order for you to play DVD in motion, you have no choice to change the unit. I bought mine form http://www.mbenznl.com/ about $1,500 exchange and I heard others bought them from http://www.mbdoctor.com/
