i apologize if someone posted this already, i have been away from the forums a bit:
i know we all have wrestled with choice to pull the clear bra off the rear fender wells, or leave it on only to yellow. today i brought my car in for routine service, before it goes into hibernation for the crappy chicago winter, and the service advisor told me the "bras"\clear protection film are covered under warranty when they start to yellow, for the life of the warranty!
this also answers the questions around people wanting to remove the film, but not being sure if it would destroy the paint. id rather have the protection, and have the dealer replace them every year!
hope this helps some of u out...with yellow trim ; )

I pulled the film off my CLS500 as soon as I got it. Real easy to do. Unfortunately over the next 14,000 miles I ended up with stone nicks on the leading edge of the rear fender. I've left the film ON my new CLS550.
