Has anyone been able to turn off the Keyless Go warning beep (“don’t forget the key” ) when you open the drivers side door. I know you can temporarily shut the beep off by pressing the selection button on the steering wheel, but is there a permanent fix?. My dealer has told me that they cannot disable this irritating beeping.

yes - but it requires stardiagnose and a person who knows how to operate it...

I have been told by my local dealer that the seat belt bong cannot be turned off. Can I assume that he is wrong, and that with Star Diagnostics this can be done?
Also, how do I find someone with Star Diagnostics and the ability to use it?

You can temporarily turn off the warning beep by pressing any button on the left side of the steering wheel. The beep will remain off until you open or close a second door.Originally Posted by KB5

greetingz,
Would this be something that an everyday tech would know how to do if asked, or is this done through a special menu or something? ANy extra info you could provide would be helpful. I can't stand the stupid beeping when I open the door. It's so uneccesary, IMHO.Originally Posted by MBenzNL
