New Nav CD

My dealership has told me the new Nav CD's have been released. Has anyone purchased one and compared it to the old?

Did they tell you which version it is (2006.1 is current)?

I have been running version 2005.3 and the latest NAV disc my dealer has is 2006.1 @ $275.00.

I wished the CLS NAV system had the features my wife's system has in her 2006 ML500. Her system will even tell you what side of the street your target address is on.

That’s what I thought because 2006.1 is the current version. According to NAVTEQ the next version is scheduled for 2006 winter release. I’m assuming this is December. Previously they said it was to be released late September, or early October. Thanks.

Thanks for the winter heads-up. I have emailed Navteq to find out exactly when version 2007.1 will be available. Navteq is selling this version already for BMW and others online. It looks as thought MB is keeping disc sales in-house.
