CLS 500 Silver
Just bought CLS500 Silver. Would like to know whats the widest tires I can put in the back and front. Also would like to lower the car, any suggesations please reply. Thanxxx

305 is the widest i've heard of people running in the rear which is may not be the widest that can fit... 255 is pretty normal on the front... for lowering you can use links, an electronic module or dremel and washers. depends on how much cash you want to spend and how easy you want to be able to readjust the height..

Thanks a lot. Also if I put 20" then how much should I lower in order to avoid touching or hitting the body. The picture I'm attaching is how much lower you think it is?

the picture you have is what most would consider slammed... I dont know if i would go that low.. I want my car wheel well to sit just above the tire.. that picture the wheel well is almost sitting right above the rim... I think anywhere from 1.5 to 2 inches would be good.. maybe in the picture the guy has it dropped 2 inches and then used the buttons on the center console to lower more while parked.
