i think adding a body kit will satisfy most issues. its riding too high now with the 22s, so a nice body kit to fill the sides in, and replace that hideous front bumper! i considered 22s, but was afraid the car would not sit right...definitley glad i stuck with the 20s. although, i could see the 21 MAYBE being the sweet spot ; )

i think that if u droped it the car would look alot better those 22s are huge you just need to bring it back down on the ground tuck that rear wheel and put that front as far as u can go with out rubing

but why didn't you go for 25/22 F and 20/22 B instead? it would be closer to stock height at least and your car wouldn't sit as high. maybe you could stretch the tire too.

I actually went with Toyo's
the pirellis that were on my car for the shoot were removed due to the front tire being too tall.
The toyo was a better fit although the rear is a hair taller, the front is shorter where it counts.

Thats why the Pirellis were removed after we noticed front rubbing. Only Toyo makes the correct front tire for CLS in 22's. The Toyo rears are slightly bigger at 305 (up from 285 in Pirelli) but the key is that Toyo makes a front tire short enough to work on CLS. The Pirellis rubbed in front.
Again, the rear is not an issue.
Sorry for the confusion in the pics, I didnt know that the sizes can be read off the tires.

I am not trying to clown but just in my honest opinion it looks terrible. The CLS is a sleek and sexy sporty sedan, right now it looks very high off the ground and its just too big. I've always ran at least 20" on my cars so this isn't coming from an out of touch purist. Its just way too big and I think you will get alot of attention but not in a good way.
I'm being honest I'm not gonna lie and tell you its good for the sake of making this thread sound better. It does look funny. You should consider getting 21 max.

My car has already been lowered...but I dont want to post pics until I do one more thing. Just gotta have an open mind. You cant make an assessment yet as to the look based solely on the mount. Theres much more to do.
..love the color, but the rims are just a little to big.

disregarding the looks which is subjective, i can only imagine what those wheels have done to the performance...... I can only imagine how much they have slowed down the car and I would love to see the delta between the stock 60-0 and the new 60-0 braking times.

but i guess as long as you like it....IMO...it looked classier stock

i would seriously go for thinner tires. 30 and 25 is way too thick. i think 25 and 20 will look much better. and you should also stretch the tires a little bit. good luck~
