I am new to this board just having to trade in my Porsche on a CLS because of the inability to put a child car seat in the Porsche.

I did not get the package which had udgraded sound and navigation but I have already installed navigation from ebay parts.

However, I want to try to at least put in the harmon/Kardon subwoofer in the factory location. I purchased the subwoofer unit off ebay for $25. Does anyone know stats on the stock stereo for the command unit in the USA. Is the wiring harness for the subwoofer already in the back deck. Downloaded lots of great info for stratekinfo.com but did not find the answer to my question

It is my understanding the the Harmon and Stock system uses the same amp, just different software, if so has anyone pursuaded their dealer to upgrade.
