Many have used the Renntech lowering modules and seem to be very happy. I believe at one time Adam was selling them for about $1200.00

Hey Heath,
It seems my service Rep is putting me on. I brought my car in last week for the 1500 mile service to Ft. Lauderdale MB. I inquired about having the car lowered with the Star Diag and was told that it would only last a few weeks, then the computer would reset and the car would rise. I also questioned the ECU upgrade and he said if I did any work on the car from an outside source then I would void the warranty. I'd have to buy and have it installed through MB service and pay a premium.
To top it off, when I picked up my car the wheels were all scratched up, (pretty bad) someone used what looks like a wire brush when they cleaned it. You'd figure after the first wheel, the dumb *** would have realized it. I had to bring it back in the following day and they tried to polish out the scratches, but they were unable to (all 4 wheels). Big time inconvenience. Now, they're going to get a wheel professional this week to see what can be done.
BTW. I have a few of my buddies and myself planing a trip to moroso in a few weeks, you're more than welcome to come.

First of all, the dealer should be replacing your wheels rather than trying to fix them. That's lame, I'd complain to MB North America.
Next, the bit about the voided warranty is bull****. My car is lowered with a Kleeman module and just this thursday I took it in when the check engine light came on. The dealer replaced the intake manifold gasket and also took care of a sketchy parktronic sensor overnight (they run a 24 hour a day service shop); I picked it up on Friday with no hassle about any warranty being voided. It's not like it isn't completely obvious that my car is lowered.
BTW, I got them to turn off the tire pressure sensor using the Star Diag even though they said they weren't supposed to. Sounds to me like you need to find yourself a new dealer.

I agree with jnolan, a wheel professional will have to strip off the clearcoat and then have the wheels painted if needed then clearcoated and I would bet that eventually they would start to chip or peel. Have them replaced, it was there fault! As for the lowering i have had my ClS in for the SBC brake system and for an alignment and nothing was said about voiding my warranty. Good Luck
