brake bleeding question

Im doing a brake job for a relative (rotors, pads, sensors) front and rear on a cls500. After swapping out all the rear parts, i start bleeding the brakes (2 man job, one man pump the pedal, one man bleeds the valve). After bleeding it several times no more fluid is coming out and the resevior is topped off. I hear the abs unit going off and i get a brake warning. Turn the car on, warning still there with abs light on. Turn off the car pump it and let the abs pump go off, turn the car back on and warning is gone and abs light is off. Is this normal? if not what am i doing wrong? thanks in advance

one more question what is the brake bleeding order? im doing it LR then RR

SDS system needed!

First disconnet the SBC pump, jack up car and open hood and close all doors and put key away. I removed the rear brakes and rotors and went with Porterfield pads for less dust and crossed drilled rotors with no bleeding nesessary. Then I removed the front calipers and did the same for the front, everything was fine until i decided to remove the 4 rusted torx screws on the side of the calipers to get them chromed for added detail to the new wheels that I was putting on. Of course brake fluid began to run out i figured I would just pressure bleed the system and then be done with it. With the new tork screws back in and the fluid fill to the line and with all the pumping in the world, the brakes were not getting hard so I called a friend of mine that works for a European shop and he told me that the car had to be towed in and have the CLS put on the SDS system which lets the fluild into the pump and resets the fault code. After $150.00 labor for the Tech, the car was like a champ. I have changed pads since with the SBC system on other mercedes with no probems and did not have to open the bleeder valves. Good luck!
