Just finished my new project. The Silver Carbon Fiber was ordered from Germany to replace thewood trim in my car.

I liked the wood, but I just wanted to be different.

you can go to cardomain.com/id/khelawanb to see more pics of my CLS

The parts cost approx $3,400. These parts completely replace the OEM. There is a cheaper, fake, stick on kit available, but you can really tell the difference.

Not my bag, but you did a nice job with it, especially with the red interior. My curiosity is the DVD you have playing on the COMMAND. I emailed a guy in NY about the conversion, which I understand, but where did you install the player? Also, did you put a backup camera in as well?

thank u Tex, There are two different ways to view video in the command, you can buy a Euro head unit, that has a DVD drive, then unlock the system using a code to watch TV while you drive, or you can send your command out to Nav-tv.com, and they will install video input through the AUX line, then you can use back up camera/dvd player etc. I have a video switcher, so I have several things connected like ipod video, DVD changer, xbox, etc.

The T.V. picture quality that we all have in our CLS's is really good, and it is a very convenient mod, it just needs to be activated.

I think that looks sick. I was wondering if there was any options to change the wood grain. who did you order the parts from?

I ordered the parts from Neil at Eurotekmotorsports.com. The website is under construction right now but he can be reached at 1-954-732-4934. Very good customer service too. All you need to do is put down a very small deposit, and the parts will be ordered. The parts are made in Germany, and only by special order, so it takes about 3 to 4 months before delivery.

The Mercedes dealer in my area told me that they would install it, but it would take 8 hours of labor, and that It would cost $700 to install. My installer in Rockville Md did it in 4 hours, for $240.

And the kit will cost allot less if you get it without the steering wheel.

another idea, is to custom paint the pieces to match the color of the car, I've seen this done on shows like Unique whips, and it looks really nice.

I admit that I really believed that I had real wood in my CLS, but that dash is metal, painted to look like wood. I feel foolish, lol.

the cargo covers in the rear that slide open are real wood pieces.

peace.
